    Amidst all the turmoil that is the cladding scandal, you can be totally sure of one thing. Leaseholders are completely innocent!

    On historic ,...On a daily basis, individual leaseholders r receiving massive bills, which force some into bankruptcy or homelessness.. however the Govt simply has no proposals which begin to match the scale of this impending crisis. 3/4

    1/ My day job is in leasehold management. I manage two blocks affected by the . And there’s a tsunami of work headed. Cladding, fire doors, compartmentation.  All will be subject to VAT and it is a windfall to the government.

    Government again botched the . Far too little, far too late. Taxpayer still contributing towards a problem they didn't create. PLC Developers get away with it and the homeowners pick up the cost

    The government encouraged people who couldn't afford a full mortgage to purchase through Help To Buy and then abandoned them when the cladding issue arose. Shame on them. Why does the media not mention this?

    The fire safety act is a joke, especially if the lease holders have to pay for the safety of a flat they where told was safe.... this is one of the most corrupt decisions the government has ever made

    Spoke to regarding the unfairness of the on shared ownership leaseholders who are asked to pay a 100% of their flat remediation while owning part of the flat itself (25% ownership in my case)

    Listened to a great interview with a leaseholder affected by which will hopefully inform the general public. Whoever allowed polystyrene on flats in the 21st century should be imprisoned.

    Terrible news for local residents in H&H affected by the that Tory government has refused to protect leaseholders. Poor show from Labour abstaining on Lords vote to block the law will always back leaseholders

    Robert Jenrick. Another duplicitous Tory talking about “levelling up” when he votes for leaseholders to pay for the mistakes of construction companies. Many of whom are Tory donors. Not much “levelling up” there.
