    I've only used BGA parts a handful of times, in this example due to my inexperience I had swapped the coordinates of the BGA pads and not noticed. This bodge let me test sw functionality while new PCBs were made.

    Spent a long time figuring out I have emitter and bases swapped. These SOT 23 packages were fairly easy to install upside down. Also, first required bodge. Looks pretty disgusting. Automatic programming circuit works now though ✅

    I used to see bodge wires/resistors/etc as failure. They are. But they also cause me to think differently. Some of my “clever” hardware designs were initiated by a bodge fix in the prior revision. Constraints trigger creativity. Bodges are just one type of constraint

    I once built a build package in a hot hurry and forgot to generate the routing layer for the non-standard PTH for some panel mount switches. And, hilariously, that time I added a reverse protection FET at the last minute and this happened. 650 staples later...

    #1. Forgot to connect all of my micro's power pins #2. EDA tool output bad polys, so my board came back with no ground plane! #3. [no picture] Forgot to put fab notes for an antenna keepout - fab saw the nice open area and used it for a copper label.

    I mean it still doesn’t work 100% but got the esp32 programmed and it’s at least talking to the dfplayer mini. Just no sound yet. But yay
