I love watching the #blackish reruns EXCEPT the episodes when Dre and Bow are having marriage problems and move toward separation and divorce. I guess it triggers childhood memories of my parents. I want comedy and social issues not heavy personal sadness.

Well off to watch some #Blackish knowing some old fool is going to be breaking his wizened fingers furiously tweeting Shit about me like the good puppet he is. Night night all 😊

8852. #blackish "Under the Influence" - Oh, Dre. The live action dad that's most like a cartoon one, well, and then in the style of Good Times, suddenly isn't (they flip that switch better though). A really solid episode, one of the better later ones. (A-)

Watching #Blackish last night and this interaction had me reeling: Jack: So it’s ok to call the police on white peoples? Pops: I’m not saying yes, but I’m not saying no.

I’ve waited so long to finish Black-ish because I knew I would be a crying mess…and now I’m one episode away from the Series Finale and my shirt is wet with tears. Why am I like this? Why is this show so GOOD?! 😭😭😭 #blackish

8853. #blackish "Good in the 'Hood" - I feel this one. My dad was black, but since he was raised by whites in a white town he had zero connection w/black culture & by the time I was around, like Jack & Diane here was afraid of black people, self hating even. I mean the dude 1/2

8820. #blackish "Each One, Teach One" - A rare ad agency A plot combined with a rare Bow plot where she's happy, if even for a minute. Usually I've got tons to say about good but not great sitcom episodes but maybe I've finally run out? (B-)

8821. #blackish "Andre Johnson: Good Person" - No he's not. At all. A rare mention of Devonte! Even before the pandemic he was barely mentioned. The grandma B plot is weak & weakly connected, feels like an NBC green week forced plot. (B-)
