    When it comes to buses in London, I believe most of them are capable of having wheelchair passengers. However... then there is human behaviour, which makes it unreliable. Trains I keep on seeing are a major unresolved issue. Big fan of pushing

    I’m giving a talk at work on language and transport planning. Cycles vs bicycles, parking vs storage, collisions vs accidents…does anyone have other examples of inclusive language in transport?

    It’s a critical time for expanding cycle infrastructure and that’s why I say it’s on the cycling community as a whole to shine a light on and dismantle its ableism so we don’t form the new world using an ableist model.

    For many people that 'little bit of mud' makes the path unusable, uncomfortable, and unsafe. If we want to tackle car dependency then we need to build good 4 season smooth paths. We need to think and recognise ableism is rife in a lot of the way we think.

    We're all trying hard to get to that. TfL have already changed a lot over this. In image banks too, there are now far more pictures of people wearing everyday clothes. But yeah, still a lot to do! Here's my contribution for now. Kid? Rain? No pb 👍
