Funny thing is- I don’t even think Andy Dalton has been that bad. I think the overall design of this offense is total shit. Matt Nagy has Kansas City aspirations with bottom 5-10 results. Consistently.

I just want to watch Justin Fields play.

  4. put Fields in picks up 9 yards & threatening in Red Zone, take him out & Dalton throws a Pick in End Zone. Can’t make this up.

Matt Nagy looking for excuses, now he can't blame Trubisky

You know what Andy Dalton did well? He executed Matt Nagy’s offense well. Actually, extremely well. Outside of the pick, he was efficient. Matt Nagy’s offense just sucks. 🤷🏼‍♂️

  7. Yeah….I’m gonna need Eddie Jackson to go ahead & stop “coaching” the DBs. 😩😬

Here’s the REAL story on the quarterback decision.

Marquise Goodwin on the ' approach against Jalen Ramsey: "He's a unique player, All-Pro, Pro Bowler, instinctive, especially in short spaces. And us not running past 10 yards, that fell right into his hands I feel like."

Eddie Jackson has to be the worst tackler in the NFL right?

  11. Matt Nagy the favorite to be the first NFL coach fired at 4/1 odds, per .

  12. Transactions: — The released TE Jake Butt from the reserved/retired list. — The claimed RB Trenton Cannon. — The placed DT Gerald McCoy and OL Denzelle Good on IR. — The placed Mekhi Becton, Blake Cashman, Lamarcus Joyner and Braden Mann on IR.

  13. Gonna be a lot of “we gotta get that cleaned up” Yada yada yada about the defense after this one!

All told, Andy Dalton hasn’t been bad today. He’s made some accurate throws and read the field pretty well for the most part. He’s definitely an upgrade over Mitch and Foles, but this offense still lacks that explosive element.

The have an aging and declining front-seven, one of the thinnest secondaries in the league, a below-average offense, and few young stars to work with. If it weren't for Justin Fields, they'd be in the worst long-term roster positions in the NFL.

This is why I projected the defense to take another step back. Yes, they have a ton of investments on the front 7 but they haven’t done anything consistent in a two years. Plus, their secondary is the worst we’ve seen since the start of the rebuild.

  19. QB Andy Dalton earned a 58.1 passing grade from PFF in Week 1, which ranked 31st among graded players. All of the analytics tell the same story. Dalton wasn't good. The fact his performance is being sold as 'fine' is because the Bears are used to WORSE qb play.

My dad was way to comfortable playing QB. He was Superman in jersey. 🐐

  21. Sep 12

QB Andy Dalton had just one passing attempt travel more than 15 yards through the air tonight. Every other starting quarterback in Week 1 had at least four passes go 15+ yards. That's just unacceptable on Matt Nagy's part.
