My parents were Irish immigrants - both uneducated - we grew up in poverty in a working class area of Manchester that was diverse..no matter how bad - I always knew I was much better off prospects wise than any black or asian kid in that area just because I was white

This professor is right. Don’t give any assistance to white working class boys. They’re already innately privileged. This country owes a debt to black people for enslaving them. It’s only fair to give preferential treatment to blacks

is absolutely correct. Kids - boys in particular - do much worse at school when multiply disadvantaged, especially by poverty. Some of the most disadvantaged people in our society are poor white people. They are not disadvantaged because they are white.

Why don't we just help all disadvantaged kids in whatever ways they need?

"If a working class white guy puts on a suit he can still get a job". Trivialising social problems like this is so problematic. Dangerous identity politics once again. White privilege doesn't put food on the table for families.

"There is no additional penalty to being white and working class. There IS an additional penalty to being black and working class." Another truth bomb from . Let's have more educational support for working class children of all backgrounds.

Precisely as I said. White people are born privileged. This is a fact. Being born white gives you an automatic step up in life so you shouldn’t expect to receive any additional assistance

  9. Privilage?!? That daft bint has not got a clue! Ive never had one bit of privilage in my life! When people start throwing the word privilage about, they loose all credibility imo, as its very insulting and actually quite racist as not all white people have privilage!

  10. Let’s be realistic men are the majority of sex offenders. We live in a country where men think they can touch women when and how they want. They need to understand the word no. And respect the boundaries

White working class boys are left behind cos they don't want to work hard. Only white people start as shop assistants and become CEOs. The society is racist and get upset when you point it out

  14. 2. velj

No white working class boys, anti, black people telling white people what their life experience is. anti white BBC shut it down

The unmentionable is Darwin. In general, 2 solutions to survival- 1. Dull but aggressive - led to empires - relying on a few bright bell-enders to direct the enterprise. 2. Bright but peaceful - who hope(d) to be left alone. Historical examples dot planet.

A lot of issues being denied and ignored to fit agendas this morning

  17. 2. velj

this problem is a direct result of political correctness gone mad. The pendulum on racism is swinging in the other direction in many areas. We’ve over corrected!

Are any white working class males going to speak? No? OK.

    Sorry...fell asleep. What was that?

It's funny how these leftists suddenly say help should be regardless of race when it comes to white people needing it. Didn't see them using that argument when it comes to endless programmes for BAME groups.

They really should rename this programme The Big Wind Up. It would be far more accurate.
