The
#authorlifemonth prompt for today is inspiration. I’m struggling to answer that because I’m inspired by small bits of life, my non fiction is often inspired by frustration or anger... my fiction is often inspired by a small character spark.Prikaži ovu nit -
• Day 1: Me! I am a Brazilian YA author and my debute novel is coming to the US next November 20th.
I like musicals, romcoms, making sad playlists and using bad jokes to hide my insecurities
I am more than my sexuality and also SUPER GAY. #AuthorLifeMonth pic.twitter.com/180QW7PAlx

Day One: Me I was born + raised in Indiana, and now write stories about black girls from my hometown getting the happy endings they deserve. I currently live and teach in Brooklyn, and as the smile in this photo suggests, am not a very convincing New Yorker yet.

#AuthorLifeMonth Day 6:#Inspiration. There are as many opportunities in life to be inspired as there are stars in the sky. I talk more about this below.pic.twitter.com/AkCAh2ujaI

#AuthorLifeMonth Challenge Day 6: Inspiration: My writing inspiration can come from anywhere—things I read or hear about. But most of the time, I have no clue where my ideas are coming from. This is a photo of the stationery store that inspired my novel Paper Love. pic.twitter.com/nawvljgNzu

Hi! I’m Melissa. I have cerebral palsy, and I’m pursuing my BA to work in children’s publishing. I write YA contemporary romances starring disabled teens. I’ll be querying a book about disabled orchestra kids in the spring!

A lot of my inspiration--for this WIP, anyway--has come from orchestral pieces, whether they're covers, classics, etc. Also winning
@erinelizgrammar's positivity giveaway that has sparked our friendship. (She made this aesthetic!)#authorlifemonth pic.twitter.com/0hNaPYJlBj

#authorlifemonth Day 6! Inspiration: tiny mixed race Japanese American girl in her kimono! She inspired so much of a new project, probably the most ambitious and personal things I’ve written. And still a secret. But isn’t she cute? (This is me btw. I am inspired by MYSELF) pic.twitter.com/qgIY7HJrqd

Day 6 of
#authorlifemonth is inspiration. I draw my inspiration heavily from my surroundings. From the people I interact with down to the weather itself. I tend to write my best during the winter with the snow… https://www.instagram.com/p/B8PaI3UAo3t/?igshid=p0joxqykiy19 … -
Today's
#AuthorLifeMonth post is Inspiration. It took me some time to really nail down what it is that I take my inspiration from, and when I did, it seemed so obvious. (1/2) pic.twitter.com/2xjurseKiq

#AuthorLifeMonth Day 6: inspiration. It can come at any time, anywhere, but I do my best thinking with mechanical, meditative tasks like baking and cooking. pic.twitter.com/Da3yn49Dkh

Day Six:
#authorlifemonth Inspiration. I want to say it’s some muse, but really, I just like to write books about handsome men and the complicated women that they are completely devoted to.#writersofinstagram… https://www.instagram.com/p/B8PVWf3ALVf/?igshid=dd1k0ume3lyg … -
Day 6: Inspiration My inspiration comes from the most random places. Mostly “what if?”s like: what if there was an Alpha/Omega story but they were twins instead of lovers?

Day 6 of
#AuthorLifeMonth: Inspiration! Art history is really about stories and people. Sometimes, truth is stranger than fiction. Other times, stories, or pieces of stories, are lost to history. For me, that’s where imagination takes over, and fiction begins. pic.twitter.com/9WEvhmIhQw

#AuthorLifeMonth Day 6: Inspiration Well, my next novel is called COOL FOR THE SUMMER, so it’s a little obvious, isn’t it? But@ddlovato inspires me a hell of a lot beyond the one song that, cobbled with inspiration… https://www.instagram.com/p/B8PXgIagB2p/?igshid=4wzvaksf99ls … -

Day 1: Me I’m Lucas Rocha, 27 yo, born in Rio, currently living in São Paulo, Brazil. I work as a librarian and my favorite thing in the world is laying down in my sofa after cleaning the house and taking a shower, and read a good book while waiting for pizza

Day 6 of
#AuthorLifeMonth is dedicated to "Inspiration". In A DRAGONBIRD IN THE FERN, the monoliths of the country of Farnskag were inspired in part by Haystack Rock in Oregon.
