Just watched on Netflix. 100% worth watching. The stigma of being uncircumcised needs to stop.

I also will say that I wish had been less biased. It was so filled to the brim with guilt and a one sided view. Any one opinion from the pro-circ side was trampled by multiple opinions on the no-circ side. I wanted more facts, numbers.

I come back to, what about the World Health Organization claims that circumcision reduces the risk of HIV by 60%? Trying to gain all the information I can.

Watching the Netflix documentary American Circumcision. Honestly, so happy I made the choice I did for my sons. Please watch it and inform yourselves. Thank you for making this to help educate Americans.

Just watched . I had my son cut, it was what I grew up knowing, I thought it had benefits. After watching this doc I feel regret. There is no reason to remove something that came with birth.

Watching and people are annoyed because “children have the right to keep the body they were born with.” Agreed. But if those same kids were trans (or even gay)?... WOAHHHHHH THERE BESSIE! That’s “nOt ThE sAmE” oki Janice. Ok Bob. 👍🏻

I would never discount the feelings of the men in this film. They are valid in all they say. In my personal experience, I haven’t met a man who feels the same. One side does not discount the other. It’s all choice.

As someone who grew up in a Jewish culture, with a bris being common practice for infant boys, I was intrigued to watch a documentary about circumcision. I’ve heard varying arguments for and against and I thought, why not see a real in depth look?

I just do not like the automatic assumption that my son will be welled up with rage and resentment towards me. I give him only love and support for his whole life. I would never shame him for anything. It’s quite a biased and fear tactic approach.

It is 2019. Stop mutilating your son’s genitals! 😠

  13. Okay so is a super interesting documentary. No matter where you stand on the issue of circumcision, I recommend watching it on Netflix!

You can tell a lot about someone by their stance on circumcision..

In the end, I learned nothing new. I’m disappointed that i learned nothing new and I’m disappointed that this felt like a propoganda film. In the end, nothing has made me pro or anti circumcision, just anti-

It’s called and I’ve watched it. Excellent. Very informative. People don’t realize it’s totally unnecessary and causes such trauma and pain. It removes over 20,000 nerve endings. The penis never functions the way it was designed. 😔

Watching honestly just made me even more salty about the fact that my parents were like “Hey cut that bit off or it’s gonna look funny.”

It definitely failed debunking the HIV studies, imo. This portion of the doc really could’ve allowed both sides to be heard. Alas...
