    Just got off the phone with RCMP in Strathcona County... the llama is still on the loose. They’ve gotten about 10 calls of llama spottings, but haven’t been able to catch it. Also, if you’re missing a llama they wan to hear from you!

    If you see a bear on the roadside, consider not stopping. 'Habituated' bears that have lost their natural fear of humans almost inevitably become ‘problem’ bears. A fed bear is a dead bear.

    The agility and seemingly effortless flight of Snowy Owls is amazing to watch. We have a lot around this winter and see several every day perching on posts or power poles. This female took off likely looking for some breakfast.
