    Still waiting on more word about the situation in Paddle Prairie. Our last update said 11 homes have been lost and 80 homes are in direct danger. Surveyors had to leave because the smoke is too thick. VIDEO:

    Albertans have huge hearts... but in times of emergency, beware the "secondary disaster" of overwhelming donations that are not tailored for the actual needs of the community. Donating cash to reputable agencies w presence on the ground is the best way to help.
