    Last night fracas between police & kids throwing fireworks at vehicles & passers by & we need to have ‘compassion’ towards such behaviour because these kids ‘endured a traumatising lockdown...years of austerity & racism’. Oh please🤬

    2/2 That said, the kids involved have undergone a traumatising lock down and endured years of austerity and racism. A bit of compassion for both sides is needed, police in that instance have a tough job but are institutionally racist. Chicken and egg situation.

    Community spirit is alive and kicking in . Local Sikhs have been serving hot pre-packed meals on Sundays and Thursdays at 6:30pm, opposite the DLR/Costa Coffee in Woolwich town centre. If you know anyone who, can benefit from free hot meals, let them know.
