    Very sad to hear today of the death of sculptor . He was best known for his concrete murals, many of which are now listed, and whose preservation the C20 Society is honoured to have been able to campaign for. He was a friend of the Society, and an amazing man.

    We are saddened to learn of the passing of pioneering sculptor (aged 95) who created The Turnpike Centre's concrete frieze in 1971. His legacy lives on, with many other brilliant public artworks across the country.

    Very sad to hear just now of the death of sculptor . By some weird twist of fate I finished my newest print yesterday - a tribute to his mural in Coventry. His work figured heavily in my childhood there, and inspired my love of concrete.

    Bracknell New Town mural by Mitchell. It’s no longer there sure to recent remodel of the town centre. It’s due to reappear on the side of a multi-storey car park.

  10. Sculptor passed away the other day. In 1967 he designed to stand outside Salford Tech. Since then these bad boys have watched over the building where I was taught Art and Design. I loved them then as I do now. Thank you William...safe journey x – mjesto: Salford

    - can you help us save this important piece of public art by ? The building is due to be demolished. I'm hoping the murals can at least be moved elsewhere so it can be part of the city for generations to come.

    Anyone know if this sculpture, that was on an office block in Slough (Windsor Road), was a ? This photo’s apparently from ‘84. I remember it from the 70s - it was removed from the building years before it was demolished.
