    It looks like the area will get some rain this evening. There is also a slight risk that some of these storms become severe. Please make sure you and your family stay and have a plan in place for severe-weather emergencies.

    Along w/ the cooler temps behind the front, a broken line of T-storms will sweep through this afternoon and evening w/ some strong to severe wind and/or hail. Expect storms to fire up along the front after 2 PM, and sweep through eastern KS and northern MO by midnight.
