    People w/ rare disabilities like many of my friends and I have little to no chance of being included on the underlying conditions list for vaccine prioritization. This is why state and county level advocacy cannot be ignored.

    6 in 10 cyclists on Paris pop up bike lanes are new riders. Wonder why mode share isn't growing? IF you build it they will come. If you don't they will drive

    New cyclists, new city. More than half the cyclists on Paris's pop-up Covid bike lanes are new riders, many of them female. With every lane reclaimed, we see that city streets are merely future bike paths only temporarily occupied by cars.

    In this same time accounted more than 2x as many deaths in a city with 100,000 fewer residents. Today would be a great day to step up action over the rhetoric .

    is for sure more interested in preserving perceptions outside of Portland that their brand is pedestrian and transit and bike friendly. But then let 1 Portlander a week die by car and traffic violence for the third year running.

    i feel like there's been a dangerous shift at PBOT in the past few years where the agency is more concerned about preserving and protecting their brand instead of taking necessary actions to build it and be a national leader on road safety. I worry we are paying price for that.
