    Wrong. This isn’t the issue. The issue is that gave more money just for one year and then wants to hit districts with a $1 billion cut. I get that there’s a deliberate misinformation effort to distract from that fact...but that’s the fact.

    Even picking up more Dem seats won’t make = the Seattle City Council. Yet I have heard that this is the approach that GOP campaigns are going to double down on, as they apparently have polling that says it works in some swing districts.

    The ISO used authoritarian methods to kick out socialists peacefully conducting political work. This is not just an attack on democratic right but goes against the whole history of the socialist movement and should be ruthlessly opposed.

    The ISO-backed faction led by threatened, then ordered security to remove 2 reporters & an SEP supporter peacefully covering & leafleting at contract vote today. Stop the attacks on rights! unite!

    School closures present a major challenge to families forced to make alternative plans to keep children safe and supervised. This disproportionately harms households with single parents or both parents employed. There is no reason schools should not start on time.

    Who says they don't teach civics anymore? "Teacher strikes aren't illegal!" Judges: Yes they are. "Well, who cares? There aren't penalties unless we engage in contempt of court." At least we're clear now on what type of conduct is being contemplated.
