    For context, in 2019, WWDC had 6,000 attendees with Facebook's conference getting around less than 5,000. The question for Apple is whether they are willing to take the risk to have that many people in one location when the is spreading?

    You know what would be nice? If Apple postponed until September. Kick it off with the iPhone announcement to start the week. It’s not like a majority of new iOS 14 features would ship in the fall anyway.

    A remote with prerecorded session videos released on a schedule plus moderated forums for discussion would be pretty nifty I reckon. Broadcast the keynote and State of the Union sessions on the Monday from the Apple Steve Jobs Theatre. With just Apple employees in audience.

    Concerns regarding the spread of COVID-19, many are speculating that may possibly cancel WWDC 2020. Earlier today announced the cancellation of their annual conference. If Apple was to follow the same precautions may end up as a more Virtual experience.

    Apple’s annual developers conference, WWDC, is expected to take place between June 1st through 5th based on past scheduling. The conference will likely be held at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center.
