    A nice afternoon shaping up! Temperatures are headed for the lower 80s. Our next best chance of rain moves in midweek with a cold front pushing in from the northwest. Some cooler temperatures will follow at the end of the week.

    Tonight has potential to be the COLDEST temperature so far this summer. Lows will likely fall to the lower 50s. As it stands now, the Fourth of July claims the coolest temperature of the summer.

    A look back at this past meteorological summer (Jun. 1 to Sep. 1) and dew point temperatures. We had 29 days where the dew point was at least 70 degrees or warmer, which made it feel more uncomfortable, even with cooler than average high temperatures overall.
