  10. Initial thoughts; Group A looks the toughest draw by far on paper. Given the question marks surrounding Iran & UAE resolved themselves in June, the top three look strong to qualify despite the quality behind them.

  11. Tonight's playoff between Bahrain & Kuwait is interestingly poised; two coaches who've steared their ships into promising waters, but having failed in their pursuit of progression. Defeat here could see another managerial casulty, however unjust it might seem.

  12. Group B is a little more unpredictable I think. I've made no secret in saying that Australia would by my team to target from the "big 4" ahead of the draw, with Saudi Arabia and Vietnam eyeing up a surprise or two.
