We serve so that you can burn shoes and protest, as well for to protest police brutality bringing awareness to minority inequalities. PATRIOTISM HAS NO RACE, STATUS, NOR GENDER

I can't speak for all veteran's, but I remember swearing an oath to defend the U.S. Constitution, this includes defending the 1st amendment, love him or hate him, Kap has the right to peacefully protest

  3. Replying to

We support Kap. Can't say that you protect people's freedoms but put a limit on when or how they can use them.

  4. Sep 6

Because protest IS patriotic. I wouldn’t defend a country that stood, or kneeled, for anything less.

Don’t give me that bullshit about Nike or Colin Kaepernick disrespecting the military..a green beret is the one who told him to kneel...this ain’t about us he made that clear...I got homies who never made the flight home...don’t use them for your arguments

Land of the free because of the brave . When I enlisted I swore to defend the constitution - including the 1st amendment . And I do have a problem with police brutality being swept under the rug.

We don’t do this for you to remain silent! Speak up for what’s right because once I take this uniform off I’m still a Black man in America.

8 Years Active Duty Air Force...the uniform didn’t protect me from racism, discrimination or bigotry then and my Veteran status doesn’t protect me now

Even though I don't agree with it, I respect it because he is standing up for what he believes in. I will always stand for the flag but I respect those more now who are using their 1st amendment to address an issue that is bigger than themselves.

This is why he and other NFL players kneel. It was never about the flag or respecting and honoring Veterans. This is racism disguised as patriotism in the flesh.

Because the blood, sweat, and tears that were shed are for the freedom of everyone! Land of the free not of the slave! Love Everyone!

Once a Marine always a Marine. I served my country honorably and proudly and I will not let racist, bigots, and political pundits to hijack my service in order to silence the voices of freedom and equality. You do not speak for me..

I'm going to say this once. So hear me loud and unfollow me now if you disagree with my views. As a Air Force veteran of 6 years..... Peaceful nonviolent protests is the lifeblood of America. He's even put his resources behind his words. Kudos to Nike!

Dear Civilians I’m not offended by anyone kneeling to peacefully protest injustice. Stop using troops and our pictures to boycott . Look at the bigger picture, some of us have family and friends that have been directly affected by this undue violence

Wow. Nice use of Google, guy. Did you speak to all 20 million? You certainly didn't ask my opinion. Search and . You might surprise yourself. We swore an oath to the Constitution. Not a piece of cloth or a song.

And can I add...please do not use my 20 years of military service to justify your racism and ignorance.

I’m a vet, I served 3 tours in Iraq and I support . is brave for supporting him, and taking a stand against police violence. Taking a knee is not disrespecting a flag, it’s standing up for the rights we all fought to protect.
