Dr Levine, take a stand based in current science. Enough is enough. Mask mandate now.

  3. BREAKING: In a 51-45 vote, the U.S. Senate just confirmed the nomination of Beth Robinson of Ferrisburgh to sit on the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals in NYC. So 's Supreme Court justice again makes history -the 1st LGBTQ woman to serve as an appellate judge.

  4. Just to be clear here since one of your minion ghouls is doing your dirty work - the implication is we SHOULDN'T CARE that we broke the case record because...we ran lots of tests? Is that your approach? Because Trump tried that & it was grotesque then too.

Good Morning VT! 22 nights down. COLD. Worried someone could have died last night. This is what we woke up to. Thought the gov had snitch more compassion than this. But then, 1 who did would not have exited anyone when we had the money not to.

This policy disproportionately places burden on families with young kids, people in LTCFs, frontline workers, and folks without good healthcare or paid medical leave. It also seems like it's not working.

  7. Wow. Highest single day case tally for Vermont since the start of the pandemic (487), and 6 new deaths reported. H/T Interestingly, points out there were also a high number of tests processed yesterday, around 18,000.

  8. This outcome was predictable and preventable and is the direct result of a lack of leadership from Gov. Scott.

This is as big a “holy shit” moment as we’ve seen in 2021, and will still do absolutely nothing to protect VTers health except ask Trumpers nicely to get vaccinated.

Applying for GA emergency housing needs to be easier, quicker, more transparent, and less dependent on tech. This system needs to be built for its anticipated users: ppl w/ limited tech, limited mobility, & who need trauma-informed services.

  11. This is preventable, abject failure. Lead or resign Lead or resign Lead or resign Dr Levine

  12. Economic Services IS the Bermuda Triangle. Years on SNAP, I can confirm it. Add to it the GA Motel system & housing..then you have a whole new level. This article by does great job of peeling back a layer.

  13. Hey y'all. There are just 2 of us and we have no dinner coming. Please don't buy a gift card. If you are far away..send me a DM and we can tell you where easy pick up or delivery is for us.

  14. Such a mixed bag. Great for them, great for everyone. And shame on us, .

  16. This is high on the list of TERRIFICALLY BAD ideas. We need our critical access hospitals, and we already can't staff UVMMC without adding this pressure.

It feels really frustrating that we're not seriously talking about more meaningful COVID mitigation strategies when we've had 1735 new reported cases this week. Scott has cited the importance of protecting the economy as his reason for not wanting to mandate masking, etc.

Mikulski, (could) lead ..., not by staying but by leaving, with her faculties & reputation intact, demonstrating her faith in our system of democracy, where change is not only desirable, but intrinsic to its foundational integrity.

I hate being right about this shit. Hunt is now asking kids not to come to school while they track close contacts because they let 2/3rds of the close contacts of a case on 10/28 back into school without testing 🤯🤬
