    25 years ago I was honoured & thrilled to join the Forces Sweetheart, Dame Vera Lynn, on stage singing “We’ll Meet Again” to celebrate 50th Anniversary.

  8. Queen Elizabeth II has delivered a speech on the 75th anniversary of VE Day from Windsor Castle, broadcast at 9pm, the exact time her father, King George VI, made his radio address to the nation in 1945 to announce victory in Europe and the Nazi defeat.

    This is what the great leader of a mature European Democracy 🇩🇪has to say about She displays a level of diplomacy, statesmanship and compassion beyond the capability of anyone in the UK government today. Scotland must reassert itself as an independent nation in Europe.
