    My wife and I went through the admin circus that is waited close to 6 weeks for our first payment and we wake up to this. This government and it’s power hungry goblin of a PM has so much blood on their hands, a lifetime behind bars wouldn’t be justice enough!

    was not designed to 'help people off benefits' or 'make work pay'. 7m people will trapped on UC eventually. You can reform the system as much as you like it won't reduce poverty because of low pay and high rents.

    As you can imagine I have gone from being poor on to now getting into debt working full time on UC. I work hard, I leave the house at 7am every morning to get my son to nursery on public transport and make the four mile journey on foot and lift share. (8)

    💵 Unless you have alot of savings to fall back on UC will break you. If you are used to getting a wage weekly. Then you lose ur job. UC makes you wait 6 weeks before a payment. Even with an advance I will now ALWAYS be a month behind with every single bill I hav

    Little FYI for anyone on . If you get paid 4 weekly, you will at some point this year get royally fucked over when two of your paydays fall inside the same one month period. Prepare yourself.
