It’s published! There are lots of great courses out there, and I hope there’s room for one more. Learn
#uxwriting online, with me! Starts March 2020. It’s 8 weeks and designed for people with some experience in content. Hope to see you there! https://www.berghs.se/en/courses/ux-writing/ …Prikaži ovu nit -

#UXWriting nightmare: “Here’s what the engineers came up with, can you write some instructional copy for it? Shouldn’t take long.” https://twitter.com/tomcopy/status/1224661421608382466 …

Hard agree. I absolutely believe that more marketing writers should understand how UX impacts their work, but
#UXwriting is its own thing. -
Worried how often I see
#UXwriting associated with "driving engagement". If UX Writing wants to be its own discipline, it needs to be a design discipline, not marketing. Some yahoos will spin up "UX Marketing Writing" sooner or later but we don't have to hurry it along.Prikaži ovu nit -
No impression. . . & I think it's too soon to ask for personal info. . . b/c they haven't explained how this tool works. Are we supposed to trust them? (Is there supporting text elsewhere on this page?)

UX Writing and Localization share many similarities. Both focus on drive engagement, uplift conversion, improve retention and move users into action with every word. New blog post! UX Writing and Localization, close cousins https://lnkd.in/eXx-M7n

#UXwriting is less "writing, but apps" and more "design, but words."@scottkubie -
Albert Einstein, the archetypical genius and physicist, once said, “Any fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius—and a lot of courage—to move in the opposite direction.”

Put in the work. Find opportunities to make things easier for the people using your product. Don’t force them to do the heavy lifting for you.

#uxwriting can help guide users, but it will never solve design problems. I’m really enjoying chapter 3 from@writingisdesign
“Before you start writing error messages, reframe error states as opportunities to help people get more done.” -
For your retweeting and conference talk quoting convenience, I have collected my tweets on
