Proud of Yasmine Farhat (PhD student in group). She carried out the study AND has done an outstanding job answering questions from reporters. So much poise while thinking on her feet.

My lab-mate Yasmine Farhat gave a great talk on arsenic contamination in rice, and how that contamination is changing in a warming world. Key takeaway: ☝️Temp = ☝️microbial processing = ☝️arsenic in porewater = ☝️ arsenic in the rice we eat

Enjoyed trying out the new RS2 to conduct a RTK GPS survey on my forest and bog wells at . I plan on comparing the RS2 to similar units with collegues when back at , but my first impressions in the field are positive!
