    To everyone playing in my US Open qualifier this morning: My tee time is 10:40am. The heavy rain is supposed to start at 3pm. If I’m still on the course at 3pm, I’m going to start beating people with my umbrella. Play fast fuckers.

    Five spots available at local qualifier at Eagle Creek. Lots of players on the course but Bobby Clampett and Justin Ahasic of Naples and David Hronek of Port Charlotte with 68s tied for first at the moment.

    Congrats to Drew Weary {Doug's son} as he won 1 of 4 available spots this weekend, to qualify for the U.S. Open Sectional, placing him only 2 rounds away from Pebble Beach! We'll be keeping a watch on him.

    So yeah some people didn't like the rebranding of @USL and thought it was hokey, whatever blah blah ... but for me to see teams from different divisions under the same umbrella competing against each other makes it almost feel like America is starting to get it.
