    On my flight home from , I read Brandon Terry's review of 's *The Enigma of Clarence Thomas*. Now I dislike Thomas even more than I did. I was unexpectedly angry, at 30,000 feet, about Thomas' philosophy of life and jurisprudence. /1

    Really interesting discussion on publishing including the place the journal article has in future scholarship. With so many excellent, and often peer-reviewed, public history avenues, does the journal article hold the same weight as it used to?
