    One of my initiatives this year was⬇️meropenem DOT w/ a focus on utilization of cephs in patients w/ PCN allergies. Mostly accomplished by prospective A&F, we've seen a 56% ⬇️in our meropenem DOT! What were your stewardship initiatives this year?

    Only pregnant women, recent kidney transplant recipients (1 month) and patients undergoing invasive urologic procedures (like cystoscopy) should be treated for asymptomatic bacteriuria

    An antibiotic will not make you feel better if you have a virus. Respiratory viruses usually go away in a week or two without treatment. Ask your healthcare professional about the best way to feel better while your body fights off the virus.
