    GameMaker is what I used to create Spelunky Classic and it's also one of the major reasons why is possible. Of all the tools I've tried, this one clicks with me best. Many great tutorials out there and an active community to ask questions of. Highly recommended!

  6. Playing was a blast at . I have a soft spot for games that focus heavily on the retro experience, and this compilation has 50 unique titles that are challenging, but also very endearing.

    Fun fact! I used color palette for Total Party Kill's graphics: I don't generally use palettes, but I wanted to keep TPK's art simple, so I used limited colors to make it easier to draw and animate everything.
