    A delight for commuters this morning as another rail fare increase arrives right on time, unlike the trains. Since 2010 prices have gone up by a whopping 36% and companies have paid out £180m to shareholders. This is not good enough!

    My train tickets gone up by £264 a year. Considering most of 2018 was full of delays and re-routing and more delays I do not understand how this price increase is justified?!

    With news that rail fares have increased by 3.1%, 36% since 2010, it is abundantly clear that privatisation of our railways has utterly failed. It is long overdue for a publicly controlled rail system that is affordable and puts passengers first.
