    Yates' perspective on these events runs counter to mainstream media reporting. Whether you ultimately agree with him or not, it's a perspective worth hearing and considering. Great read.

    By the time Smollett’s charges were dropped, the damage had been done. Chicago PD discredited him enough to make people believe this never happened. The net effect became one that makes people less likely to believe anyone who reports such a thing again.
