Solar Orbiter sees ‘campfires’ on the SunThis animation shows a series of close-up views captured by the EUI at wavelengths of 17 nanometers, showing the upper atmosphere of the Sun, with a temperature of around 1 million degrees. -
#EOVSA observed in microwaves the same flare reported today by the Solar Orbiter X-ray Spectrometer/Telescope (STIX) team. The microwaves show the presence of high energy electrons. Compare the time profiles!#SolarOrbiter#TheSunUpClose@stix_sopic.twitter.com/QLJ7dfGCBu
