Atleast one of these a week since my documentary “The Problem with Apu” came out in 2017. Better than multiple a day with people wishing for my death. So… PROGRESS.

Old enough to remember when Matt Groening dismissed Hari Kondabolu's excellent documentary The Problem With Apu with an oooh "people love to pretend they’re offended." That was 2018. Anyway, keep it up, kids.

Thank you, for talking about erasure in the aftermath of my film “The Problem with Apu.” White people get credit for “wokeness” without giving the People of Color who taught them any credit whatsoever. No, we just get the death threats. #UnitedShades

Finally, I heard put into words the reaction I’ve always struggled with when someone says, “…I don’t see color, I don’t see race” as said “if you can’t see race, you can’t see racism…” (I’m finally watching #theproblemwithapu - so thank you Mr Kondabolu!)
