  17. 59 years ago, four NC A&T students, David Richmond, Franklin McCain, Ezell Blair Jr., & Joe McNeil, started a sit-in at a Woolworths store in Greensboro. Their actions sparked a movement of sit-ins throughout NC and across the South.
