I literally have nothing positive to say about Tess Holliday being on the cover of magazine! I’m all for self love but she shouldn’t be seen as a good body role model!

I am not morbidly obese. All summer I have clopped around in tiny shorts with wedge shoes. Yet, my blood pressure is trying to kill me. Do haters know that we really don’t know the reason behind every ailment that plagues humanity?

Um, why is the magazine promoting disgustingly unhealthy morbid obesity? This isn’t promoting body positivity - it’s normalising horrendously damaging lifestyle choices ..

Wouldn’t it be nice, if instead of people focusing on how fat she is, they could come to the realization that she’s a Mother, Wife, HUMAN w/feelings, among 100’s of other things? If that is the 1 thing that’s got you ruminating, well, what does that say about YOU?

All these men piping up about the cover because seeing a confident obese woman scares them. Don’t see any of them pipe up when super thin models are on the covers - an equally unrealistic body image for the majority of us!

Is a good role model? A woman who is 5’3 and 300+ lbs. I’m just curious for opinions. As I see people saying she’s “body positive” and others who disagree who are then getting called “fat shamers”
