    LIVE: Two UK-bound Turkish Airlines 737 MAX flights ( > London Gatwick & > Birmingham) have turned around over Europe since the UK's airspace ban of the type. Meanwhile, Norwegian to Tel Aviv has also turned back over Romania. Israeli ban too ?

    According to both & are diverting after UK Civil Aviation Authority issued instructions to stop any flights from operating in their airspace.

    Currently 4 (2 TUI + 2 Turkish) aircraft bound for airports in UK. Based on TUI’s position nearing Manchester, it appears that they will be allowed to land.

    At this point all outbound Turkish Airlines are returning to Istanbul. Inbound flights continuing.
