Fiona Kolbinger featured on the BBC today. I don't want to politicise her achievement but it's a massive event for women's cycling. Maybe we can just now stop thinking women can't do the same as men and just all get the same opportunities to ride?

I had to write something about Fiona's
#TCRNo7 win after I heard some comments, saw some things etc. and I want everyone to know why it matters. https://www.graceqom.com/journal/the-fiona-effect/ …Show this thread -

Some thoughts about The Transcontinental race. A long story, but I don't think anything could be left out without missing the point.

"This race didn't start 10 days ago. It started half a year ago probably when the checkpoints were revealed and you started planning your own route." Fiona Kolbinger beat more than 200 men to become the first woman to win the Transcontinental Race

This year's Transcontinental has been the best yet to dotwatch. Just look at those route choices around/through the Alps. And at the pointy end of the race, the finishing straight is France.
