Fiona Kolbinger featured on the BBC today. I don't want to politicise her achievement but it's a massive event for women's cycling. Maybe we can just now stop thinking women can't do the same as men and just all get the same opportunities to ride?

  2. I had to write something about Fiona's win after I heard some comments, saw some things etc. and I want everyone to know why it matters.

Some thoughts about The Transcontinental race. A long story, but I don't think anything could be left out without missing the point.

This year's Transcontinental has been the best yet to dotwatch. Just look at those route choices around/through the Alps. And at the pointy end of the race, the finishing straight is France.
