    Yesterday we began designing our 10th gun violence prevention mural. This mural will be on Zuni and Cardenas in the International District. It is being created by community members and facilitated by Warren Montoya of Rezonate Art.

    OMG, across the street from the house I grew up in.

    Minneapolis police say a 3-year-old boy is in critical condition after being shot Friday morning. Authorities said the boy apparently was shot inside a home on the 2700 block of Thomas Avenue North.

    The failure of any Republican from agreeing to this sensible legislation from just shows why - with plenty of help from canvassers, phone-bankers, postcard writers - need to maintain/expand their majority.

    Today’s is 's HB1992, restricting domestic abusers from purchasing firearms. estimates that 62% of intimate partner homicides in Virginia are carried out with a gun. This law will help keep our communities safer.
