    Black girls have shared stories about times their teachers marked their answers wrong bc they didn’t believe they were capable of being right. Misrecognition in classes discourages Black Girls from trying & marginalizes them further

  20. I'm not used to 13, 14, and 15-Year-old girls with fake nails, fake hair, and fake eyelashes. But, I still see them as girls. And, I see them as worth protecting.
