    @LivOphth Recently had op to correct double vision & I want to thank the whole team, having any op on your eye is not pleasant but the ‘service’ I received was fab & when I removed the patch following day....WOW just WOW Thank you all so much

    This week is & effort is taken at to encourage people to donate their eyes to give the gift of sight to others. Sadly there is a shortage & 500 people every year are waiting for a new cornea. Please donate your eyes as well as other organs. 1/2

    This is a big problem that needs to be properly planned for. Where are people with eye cancers going to go for future treatment? and in Liverpool have pioneered this ground breaking treatment. Massive funding for new proton centres elsewhere in UK.

    Last month I documented my treatment at the brilliant Proton Beam Eye Centre at Clatterbridge Hospital on Merseyside. Sadly, it's now threatened with closure - more on and this evening

    Thanks for highlighting this problem. So sad and shocking.... We need our patients around the UK to have the very best care and treatment they need and deserve. Staff in must be shocked, not to mention staff in .
