    For too long, we have resorted to convictions, jail, and often prison for every charged offense. We do this even though research shows that such a response fails to deter crime & fails to keep us safe. I am running for Wayne County Prosecutor to change this.

  8. As I told the conference, I was with 30 progressive prosecutors last week – & every single Black woman in the room was severely under attack in her community. It’s not just bad stuff in the media: one of them is being threatened with an indictment. It’s outrageous.
