    & I were once on something together & I told her that I was very pleased to meet the daughter of whose great antiwar : (1933) I had once seen on the . Her face lit up-and she looked like a child. She loved her mother.

    Today's lot aren't fit to shine her shoes. An intellectual colossus of the type we rarely see these days. I didn't agree with more than 50% of what stood for but I adored her brain, passion, commitment & arguments. An absolutely iconic figure.

    Very sad about Baroness Shirley Williams. I met her on a march in London in 2018. She accepted our invitation to come to the pub! My friend, Dan, asked her why she’d left Labour in the 80s. She replied it was full of trots! She also said it was worse now!

    Today lost a huge and much loved figure who was an inspiration to so many of us. I was overwhelmed when Baroness Williams came to my campaign HQ in 2017. My thoughts and sympathy are with her family

    The passing of is a sad loss to British politics. An eloquent reformer that wanted to explore a federal UK and fought for better, fairer education and women's equality throughout her career.

    Wendy Williams mother, 85, died “peacefully.” “She didn’t suffer, not one bit, Gone is the best mother, the best girlfriend that a girl could have,” Williams said. “Our relationship was like that of two teenage girls” R.I.P Shirley Williams ❤️
