    Senator Lugar created a leadership series for women called the Lugar Series. His goal was to encourage and train future leaders in local, state, and national elected positions. Thank you, Richard Lugar for caring so much. We miss you.

    On my very first with , was a keynote speaker. Leadership like his showed the importance of bipartisan efforts in maintaining America's place on the world stage in and efforts. We need more like him.

    1/ RIP , a man of conviction and principle who believed in good, old fashioned bipartisanship & was always quick to offer a friendly wave & smile. It was a pleasure sharing a hallway with you and in the Hart Senate Building a dozen years ago.

    It is with great sadness that I read about the death of . I had the privilege of meeting him on a number of occasions and managed to make it onto his holiday greetings list for several years.

    Remembering . His efforts against nuclear proliferation stand as an example of what can be achieved also from a deliberative assembly level and with a will to work "across the aisle". Few would have deserved the more.

    would let me sit in DC committee hearings as his guest. We would spend hours discussing geopolitical policy. He worked tirelessly to make America safer; the world too. A role model for us to remember what a public servant and mentor can be. Always pay it forward.

    We all mourn when inspiring leaders leave us. found ways to work with elected officials across the aisle and across the oceans. We need more leaders like the Gentleman from Indiana.

    So many stories over the last 18 years. He always took such a genuine interest in & made time for me, amidst such greater priorities like making our planet & our country a safer, more peaceful place. He was the greatest & will be so missed.

    Nothing against ability as a golfer but the nonreader, actually considering him for Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian honor, is ridiculous! who died today, is the type of honoree we should be rewarding ! ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
