    Just a reminder that we did have a world without . In that world, Jordan Belfort & Co. AKA THE WOLF OF WALL STREET successfully sued a website (Prodigy) because an anonymous user claimed they were committing fraud (which they were). We know what will happen. It sucks.

    If doesn't believe it needs , it should publicly commit to not invoke Section 230 in litigation against it. That will create an A/B experiment showing Congress how UGC companies fare without 230

    Parler seems to think it's playing 4D chess in pretending it doesn't need 230 (when it's really trying to say it doesn't want Facebook to lead the charge on 230 reform), but the way in which it's saying this will backfire. Badly.

    I'm not celebrating 's "death" It will be reintroduced in some form and bills like it, or changes get through bc our opposition is always reactionary. It's irresponsible to ignore this. We must proactively inform representatives to be heard. Stay loud!

    Why is it that so many ppl talk about as social media protection. It was written in 1996 to protect all carriers from the liability of what other people post.
