It's really not "for the people" when you tacked PAYGO onto the end of the bill. No wonder isn't supporting this bill..it's a LIE...so disappointing . STAND UP FOR THE PEOPLE NOT PARTY/STATUS QUO!!!

I believe it is in the best interests of the middle class and the poorest of the US that you vote against PayGo. We cannot allow House Democrats to create a set of rules that clearly undermine those interests just to make-up for failed legislation.

If your congressperson says they support and then vote for "pay-as-you-go" budget rules tomorrow --- they don't support a . & understand this and have committed to

On day one of the new Congress, don't begin by "tying one hand behind the back" of Progressives by voting for PAYGO. Please, . Relying on House leadership "promises" to waive PAYGO on case-by-case is foolish, IMO. VOTE NO on tomorrow's rules package.

Every member of Congress that voted to increase the military budget but now supports is a hypocrite with blood on their hands. Both war and austerity kill people to generate profits for the rich. Don't capitulate, don't be complicit.

. It’s poison. I support a progressive agenda & you all in the fight for progress in America. This is why you were elected! We will be watching. The people won’t forget how you vote.

Barf. She is a horrible person.

  16. PAYGO aka “pay as you go” means the House must generate equivalent cuts every time they want to pass bills that spend funds. It’s a terrible way to hamstring themselves, an artifact of GOP austerity, and if 14 more Reps stand up, they could stop it in its tracks.

  17. Jan 2

Centrist Dems are supporting rules that will hamstring the progressive agenda, as they require spending cuts before the deficit can grow. Why handicap yourselves by adhering to rules the GOP disregards when they cut taxes for the rich?
