    Strat deck forming north of the Pike due to weak instability aloft..filtering out the very little radiation the sun would’ve provided to nudge up temps. Hit 32° in just before noon, we clouded over, now 31°. Snow on ground visible too!

    I remember being obsessed w/a red & white rocket-shaped crystal radio bought at the five & dime store in Cliftondale Square in , Ma. It was powered by attaching an alligator clip (at the end of a plastic coated wire) to something metal. Also had an ear piece.
