    3500 will have to endure the winter conditions in in the "jungle" awaiting to be placed in a closed Detention camp. While the municipality complains of the tons of garbage that will be left in the former camp site despite having received funding for hosting

    Latest news on the new Zervou RIC in Samos: > extended until March the transfer of the 3,500+ people from Vathy “Jungle” — due to the fact that prep works have not been fully completed.

    at the request of the RIC has proceeded with solid and liquid waste collection projects from areas surrounding the RIC of the Rehabilitation Center. Specifically, 280 tons of waste that has been collected + disenfection & repellent.

    According to media the from the hotspot in will be moved to the new camp in until March. Τhe hotspot in Vathy is scheduled to close in June
