    Amid this Hallowtide, we find ourselves straddling Otherness whilst navigating "life". ᛉ All Saints Day had us consider the Holy Men and Women of our traditions; those who became the bridge between Divinity and Humanity, those whose presence and example whispered rumours of something more. ᛉ All Souls Day had us recognise those who had toiled and suffered against all odds, in order to see their lineage continue for yet another generation. Those Mothers who gave all to ensure the nurturance of their children, and those Fathers who sacrificed themselves to enable the Mothers the chance to nurture and pass-on hard-won wisdoms. ᛉ We find ourselves on Yggdrasil, we die on the Rood daily, and so, we are crowned Human. fff.     Yes, I'm learning (orvtrying to learn) pronunciation of Irish words in the Irish Myth and Magic course I'm currently studying. The sounds are definitely NOT easy for an English speaker with an Aussie accent! Fascinating though. 💙

    Just heard someone pronounce Samhain exactly as it is spelled, so taking this opportunity to let all the witches and pagans know: It's an Irish word, and it's pronounced Sow (as in "cow") en (as in "in"): Sow-en. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
