    These young folks should be allowed to grieve and come together for support WITHOUT someone coming in and politicizing this tragedy.

    Frustrated, crying and angry, shooting victims hold an impromptu vigil in the rain Wednesday after leaving a gun-control vigil they felt inappropriately politicized their trauma. (They asked that I not photograph their faces close up, and I respected their wishes.)

    Only way I can keep my sanity when I think about these school shootings is remember what Fred Rogers said: "When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, "Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping"

    This is a picture of the outside of the room my son was in. He was somewhat to the left. That wood is covering what used to be a door. It was shattered by gunshots. This school shooting was two weeks ago and the news coverage has stopped. 😡

    I know my twitter following is small but maybe we start something. I think should give Kendrick Castillo a State funeral. The same we hold for our fallen heros. We all know if it wasn’t for Kendrick’s selfless act the death toll would be higher.
