    Headed up to W7N/CK123 (Blue Diamond Hill) for a activation. If you’re in the Las Vegas area I’ll be in 146.52 around 12:30 or so if the climb goes well.

    First 2021 activation, EA4/MD-025 Cancho de la Cabeza! It wasn't planned, I didn't know the track included sota summit 😆 First time using VK port-a-log too, very nice app 👌☺️ ⛰️📻

    Thank you Richard I appreciate that. Yes and are my primary objectives but for me to consider (myself) a cw operator, I want to be able to carry on a ragchew at 15-20wpm nothing special. Silly I know but that's my personal goal.

    Cold and blustery activation of W4G/NG-022 Sunday morning. Had to break out the . No HF except for S2S and P2P because I forgot my knee board for logging. Ugh. Found an abandoned Jeep with a thrown axle on the way up.

    On weekends we are not allowed to go out of the city limits. There are two peaks in the city. EA5/AT-036 Fontcalent is a bit hard to climb and I activated EA5/AT-099 Serra Mitjana, easier, three weeks ago. But I need SOTA... I might repeat.

    On my drive home from work I decided to do my 1st right. Instead of the panned activation, I’m going to hammock camp in the State Forest near my home. It’s park K-4350. Just signed up for so I got that going for me too.
