    I’ve come home from work so dirty and smelling like fire but I’ve had the best day today. We spent all day outside, lit a fire, made soap and made hot chocolates. What a Friday at school!

    Our GTC centre supports students to reach their potential. Last week in a literacy session, Ashton in year 7 said “Hogarth was sad because The Iron Giant sacrificed himself to save the citizens.” - Fantastic use of the word “sacrificed” and validation of your answer Ashton!

    More great work done by little (or not so little) man at school in the last week or so. Given how he once was treated in a mainstream setting, I as dad am immensely proud of his transition to a environment 😍😌 Here, he’s having a fab time in his SAQ session 😎

    Our new updated mobile interface has launched this morning. What do you think to the changes? Upon opening you now go straight into the child view and there are new buttons to toggle between home/school, now/next and parent/child.

    Today was my last day at my mainstream primary school ! It has been an absolute pleasure working with so many wonderful students and staff over the last 4 years. I will really miss being a part of the Ark Globe team 💞

    The entirety of the system in the UK needs a huge reshuffle and if there’s one thing that I’ve learned, a passionate person with a genuine interest in helping these kids is SO much more valuable than a stuffy graduate with a clipboard and shit hair - kids are the (1/2)

    Let's be entirely honest. The system is not really accessible for parents. I've practiced for years, learn everyday & still find LA behaviour baffling and frustrating. Expecting a parent to navigate it, first time, with all the emotional issues on top is unreal.
